  • Chesterton 1760 is a unique packing consisting of a PTFE yarn lubricated with graphite particles that dissipate heat. The finished packing is further lubricated with a special silicone oil for quick break-in.

  • This high-pressure graphite bonnet seal is  applicable for use on valves with screwed and bolted bonnets in steam and water. The Chesterton 5900 offers improved reliability and leak tightness of pressure seal bonnet joints. Available with metal end caps.

  • Compliance is made easier with Chesterton 1935 food grade compression packing. While EC 1935 requires that manufacturers declare compliance with the standard, it does not require independent testing for verfication. It can also be difficult to ensure your suppliers are compliant. Certified by an independent lab, Chesterton 1935 is safe for your food and beverage sealing applications.

  • Chesterton DualPac® 2211 is built to address these issues by combining two complimentary materials in one packing. Using our patented braiding technology graphite filled ePTFE can be placed against the shaft where it provides superior sealing and low friction, and a high strength and resiliency aramid is placed against the stuffing box bore to resist consolidation without shaft wear.  Both lab and field tests have shown that DualPac requires fewer gland adjustments, resulting in drastically extended life in severe service applications.

  • Chesterton 477-1T is a tough, yet pliable, continuous filament carbon yarn packing impregnated throughout with PTFE to provide a non-contaminating, non-staining carbon yarn packing.  Developed for the tough applications in the pulp and paper industry, 477-1T is specially designed to be used in high pressure feeders, pre-steaming vessels and applications that are moving abrasive slurries. This packing's combined force of carbon yarn and PTFE dispersions increases its chemical resistance against strong caustic and acid mediums.

  • Chesterton 425 is manufactured with a virgin PTFE filament and a white oil lubricant. It is perfectly suited for use in valves and also in rotating equipment such as blenders, mixers, agitators and other rotating equipment. Chesterton 425 complies with the USDA requirements for minimal food contact and FDA specification 21 CFR, 178.3620 for lubricants with incidental food contact as well as 177.1550 perfluorocarbon resins.
